In a flash, you can choose a phrase in English, then see and hear its translation into Italian, or vice-versa. The audio for each language is presented in a model native voice recorded with high fidelity. Simply echo what you hear to express yourself with confidence, even if you haven't spoken the language before.- Includes the 400+ parallel English and Italian expressions most useful to business travelers, tourists, and students.
- Displays phrases in either language by topic or alphabetically.
- Quickly finds all the entries in either language that contain the words or characters you're searching for.
- Instantly shows the written translation of any chosen English phrase in Italian, or Italian phrase in English.
- Speaks the translated phrase out loud in a clear native voice.
- Saves selected phrases in a personal Bookmarks category.
- Repeats the audio up to nine times, according to your preference.

How it Works
Suppose you're going shopping in Milan and want to be able to ask whether a merchant takes credit cards. First, select English-Italian translation. In three quick taps, you can find the right Italian expression.

In the Out & About list, tap the Shopping category.
Scroll through the Shopping phrase list and tap "Can I pay with a credit card?"
You'll see the Italian equivalent, "Posso pagare con la carta di credito?," in the gold translation window. To hear it out loud, tap the translation window. Then when you're ready to make a purchase, just repeat the phrase to express yourself in natural Italian. To reverse the process and go from Italian to English, just select Italian-English.
